Bellevue

Bellevue, located across Lake Washington from Seattle, is the third largest city in the Seattle-metropolitan area. It’s characterized as an “edge city,” suburb, or satellite city. In the last decade, Bellevue’s downtown has undergone a rapid transformation, resulting in the largest city center in Washington State. Based on per capita income, Bellevue is the sixth wealthiest city in Washington State and in 2014 was ranked the 2nd best place to live by USA Today.

In a 2018 census, it was estimated that King County is the most populous county in Washington and the 12th most populous in the United States. About two-thirds of King County’s population lives in the Seattle suburbs. With the Cascade Mountain Range dominating the Eastern part of King County and Elliot Bay extending Southeastward between Westpoint in the North and Alki Point in the South, it is encompassed by sweeping views as far as the eye can see.
