Originally called Woodland, Lacey is a suburb of Olympia and was incorporated in 1966. Lacey offers a wide variety of commerce to include warehouse and distribution centers, retail, and a large mushroom farm. Lacey has received many accolades to include the “Tree City, USA” designation from the National Arbor Day Foundation for decades. It’s an official Green Power Community by the EPA.
